We hire our post boxes for all kinds of special occasions including Weddings, Christenings, Anniversay Celebrations, Birthday Party's, House warming, Graduations, Civil Partnerships, Corporate events, Baby showers and just about any other special event where the security of gifts and cards is essential.
In our modern day society the majority of couples getting married already live together and therefore have most if not all the items needed to fill their home. The traditional "Wedding List" of household items such as pan sets and iron boards have all but gone with the modern day couple now opting for guests to give money and vouchers when celebrating their big day.
The idea behind our post box hire is to give the customer a safe place to store their valuable cards and gifts whilst creating a focal point to their wedding or celebration theme.
Whilst we would all like to think that none of our guests would possibly steal from us, the majority of wedding venues are public places where unfortunately, unscrupulous thieves will take advantage during the happy couples celebrations.
Our genuine Royal Mail cast Iron post boxes are fully lockable and weigh approximately 19 kg so as you can imagine they wouldn't be something you could easily conceal under a jacket and walk out with.
Each box is provided with a key which is generally given to the best man as part of his of wedding day duty's. The box can therefore be emptied as many times as required during the celebrations with the precious cards and gifts taken to the hotel room safe or another secure place.
Each box hired also comes with a personalised laminated plate with the happy couples names, date and a personal message to your guests thanking them for their gifts and for sharing your special day. Many couples later have this framed as a memento of their special day. We have a standard template but this can be altered to contain any message you require. For events other than weddings, this plate can be customised to suit your theme / celebration.

We have post boxes in Royal Mail red, and ivory. All our post boxes are made from cast iron and are genuine reclaimed Royal Mail boxes. These are not cheap and inferior fibreglass replicas which some of our competitors offer.
